Abstract
Objective:To study the expression and role of β-Catenin in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and cervical intraepithelial neoplasia.Method:The expression of β-Catenin was detected by immunohistochemistry in 30 cases of cervical squamous cell carcinoma,50 cases of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and,and 24 cases of normal cervix tissue.Results:①The abnormal expression of β-Catenin in normal cervical mucosa,CIN and cervical squamous cell carcinoma among the three groups were significantly different(P0.05);②The positive rate of β-Catenin among CINⅠ,CINⅡ,CINⅢ was not statistically significant(P0.05),but the difference of β-Catenin between low-level CIN and high-level CIN is significant(P0.05);③In cervical squamous cell carcinoma cases, the abnormal expression of β-Catenin has nothing to do with gender, age, tumor size and tumor site(P0.05).Conclusion:The detection of β-Catenin expression plays a key role in the diagnosis and the treatment of CIN and cervical squamous cell carcinoma.
