Traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine treatment PMOP clinic analyze

Objective To observe the treatment effect and the influence on patients' BMD(bone mineral density) of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine treatment PMOP.Methods We analyzed retrospectively 112 example patients with postmenopausal osteoporosis from January 2010 to October 2010 in my hospital,60 cases as control group,given calcitonin and gaitianli.52 cases in the treatment group was given Bushen Jianpi Jingu Decoction on the basis of the control group.Both groups were given a course of treatment and 3 months treatment,to observe the clinical effect and the change of bone density after treatment 4 weeks,8 weeks and 12 weeks.Results The total efficacy rate was 86.7% in the treatment group and 75.0% in the control group.The treatment group is better than the control group(P0.005).Both groups after the treatment for 4weeks,8 weeks and 12 weeks have a significant meaning compared with before P0.05,P0.01.After the treatment for 8 weeks and 12 weeks,the treatment group compared with the control group have a statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion Taditional Chinese medicine and western medicine treatment PMOP effect is confirmed,can enhance BMD,better than alone used western medicine group,it's worthy of clinic application.
