Clinical observation of Buzhongyiqi decoction on senile osteoporosis

Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical effect of Buzhongyiqi decoction on senile osteoporosis. Method 90 patients with osteoporosis were randomly divided into treatment control group,which was treated by traditional Chinese medicine Buzhongyiqi Decoction,and control group,which was treated by Salmon Calcitonin Acetate. The course was four weeks in two groups. BMD before and after treatment were observed. Results The total effective rate in the treatment group( 88. 9%) was significantly higher than those in the control group( 66. 7%,P 0. 05). BMD after treatment was increased in two groups( P 0. 05). The increase in treatment group was superior to that in control group( P 0. 05). Conclusion Buzhongyiqi decoction has been verified in clinical on the treatment of osteoporosis,is worthy of clinical use.
