Study on the Prevention of Infection of Incision after the Operation of Patients with Purulent Appendicitis

Objective: To explore the clinical effects of different treatment methods on prevention infection of incision after the operation of patients with purulent appendicitis.Method:80 cases patients were divided into the intervention group(40 cases) and control group(40 cases).The control group was applied for the NS,the intervention group took the 0.5% povidone iodine and 3% hydrogen peroxide,and then compared the infection rate of them.Result:One case(2.50%) in intervention group got infection,5 cases(12.5%) got infection in control group;There was significant different in infection rate between two groups statistically(P0.05).Conclusion:Application of 0.5% povidone iodine and 3% hydrogen peroxide in treatment of incision with purulent appendicitis can effectively reduce the infection rate,it is the very effective method,and hence is worthy of being recommended in clinical practice.
