Abstract
During the growth and development of potato, the assimilation products were mainly transferred, in order, into leaves, aboveground stems, and tubers. The accumulation of dry matter in whole plant was a basis for yield formation and the direction of dry matter distribution was a significant factor to determine the tuber yield.In practice, high yield can be achieved by rapid establishment of stems and leaves and reasonable distribution of dry matter through cultivation.
