Abstract
The effects of reaction time, ratio of methanol to oil and catalyst dosage on the transesterification of soybean oil for producing biodiesel were investigated by a three-level three-factor Box-Behnken design. The preparation technique parameters were optimized with response surface method(RSM).The optimum preparation parameters were reaction time 78 minutes, molar ratio of methanol to oil 6.8:1,catalyst dosage 1.2% and reaction temperature 65 ℃.The biodiesel has very similar properties to those of biodiesel DIN V 51.606 and diesel 0# in China.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
