Abstract
The solid base catalyst is prepared by K2CO3 and Al2O3.It is applied to preparation of biodiesel from transesterification of soybean oil and methanol. It is examined that alcohol oil molar ratio, amount of catalyst, reaction temperature and reaction time of four processing conditions on the biodiesel yield by orthogonal experiment. The final to determine the optimal reaction conditions are as follows: alcohol molar ratio of 9:1 oil, amount of catalyst 2 %,temperature 60 ℃,reaction time 4 hours. And in this condition the biodiesel production rate is 72.3%.
