Abstract
Han Yu and Liu Zongyuan,two famous men of letter in Chinese history,put forward a lot of theories in the classical prose movement in Tang Dynasty,which conformed to the evolvement of literature and requirement of the era.Their works led the direction of literature renovation which became mature and prosper,with the result of the prose Fu breaking through the hindrance of those formats,such as parallel fit and metrical Fu,and developing into their specific feature of simplicity and prose.
