The Figuration and Evolvement of Ancient Prose Tradition

The multi-aspect flow of ancient prose was established in Zhanguo era.Its style was basically fixed in South and North dynasty.That is the prose with loose single sentences and the parallel writing with antithetic sentences.The prose which was advocated by Han Yu in the mid-Tang dynasty started the evolving period of ancient prose.In this period,prosers′ interests and commenters′ attention on theories deeply influenced the establishment and evolvement of the tradition of ancient prose.The process of evolvement incorporated as Han Yu′s prose,three Yuans′ spiritual prose,and Tong Cheng faction′s prose.The latter prose was not simply repetition of the former one,but the conformity of Han Yu′s prose and the three Yuan′s prose.Therefore,it showed us a new style.
