Abstract
Objective To evaluate the efficacy of Urapidil hydrochloride injection in treatment of hypertensive emergency.Methods 36 patients of hypertensive emergency were treated by Urapidil hydrochloride injection.The changes in blood pressure and heart rate before and after the treatment(5min,15min,30min,60min,120min) were recorded.Results The blood pressure began to reduce after 5 min of treatment and arrived at peak after 30 min.The changes in blood pressure before and after the treatment showed significant difference (P0.01).Conclusion Urapidil hydrochloride injection is a safe and effective medicine for reducing boold pressure.
