Study of platelet′s parameters and coagulative function in 620 cases of liver cirrhosis

Objective (1)to survey the relation between the platelet′s parameters and Child-Pugh score in liver cirrhosis;(2)to survey the relation between the coagulative function and Child-Pugh score in liver cirrhosis.Methods To estimate the platelet and its parameters by SF-3000 Type Auto Counter,coagulation correlated parameters by ACL-200 Type Auto Blood Coagulation Analyzer in 620 patients diagnosed as liver cirrhosis and 45 healthy people.Results Platelet count(PLT),mean platelet volume(MPV),platelet distribution width(PDW),prothrombin time(PT),activated partial thromboplatin time(APTT),thrombin time(TT),and fibrinogen(Fig) in liver cirrhosis had statistical significance(P0.01),compared with the control.The PLT,MPV,PDW,PT,APTT and TT in the liver cirrhosis group decreased followed by Child-Pugh score A to C(P0.01).The increase of P-LCR had obvious significance too(P0.01).Conclusion The platelet and its parameters,coagulation correlated parameters (PT,APTT,TT,Fig) help to determine the loss of liver function and the prognosis in liver cirrhosis.
