On Limited Government and the Construction of a Harmonious Society

Abstract

Building a harmonious society is an objective that the Communist Party of China(CPC) has been committing itself to.However,the current mode of governance in China is not perfect,which cannot meet the needs of building a harmonious society.Therefore,the CPC needs to constantly strengthen and have innovations in its governance in economic and social affairs.Limited government is a government in which anything more than minimal governmental intervention in personal liberties and the economy is generally disallowed by law,usually in a written constitution.This paper analyzes the importance of the establishment of limited government to the construction of a harmonious society and points out ways and methods of improving the drive to build a harmonious society.
