Strengthen Government Public Service and Build a Socialist Harmonious Society

A strategic task,building a harmonious society,was put forward on the CPC's 16th National Congress.The harmonious society itself is the intrinsic value of the government pursuit.Public service is a basic function of a modern government.As China's economic and social development imbalance and traditional system of government bonds,the decline of our public service functions has become an obsta- cle to social harmony.Therefore,the government must enhance public service functions to meet the in- creasing public demand so as to build a harmonious society.
