Abstract
The methods for the extraction of chlorogenic acid from ramie leaf were investigated. The effects of extraction solvents, extraction temperature and the ratio of mass of raw material to the volume of solvent, extraction time and pH value were studied. A series of parameters optimized by orthogonal experiment are as follows: 70% (volume fraction) ethanol as solvent is used to extract chlorogenic acid from ramie leaf 3 times for a duration of 2 h, the ratio of mass of raw material to the volume of solvent is 1∶10, extraction temperature is 70 ℃ and pH value is 4.0. According to the conditions mentioned above, chlorogenic acid is extracted efficiently and the extraction rate of the chlorogenic acid can reach 83%.
