Abstract
[Objective]To develop a simple and reliable method for the determination of manganese in urine of the population in the community and the workers exposed to manganese.[Methods]Urine samples were digested with digestion apparatus at constant temperature, manganese in urine was tested by Graphite Furnace Atomic Absorption Spectrometry.[Results]The regression equation of the method =0.001+0.028X,r=0.999 7;fine linear relation was at the range of 0.05~20 μg/L.RSD(%) was 3.18%、1.35% and 2.26% in the urine with low, moderate and high concentration of manganese by the examination of degree of accuracy. The recovery was 101.2%、99.2%、100.3% after adding different content of standard solution in 3 urine samples by recovery test.[Conclusion]It is a feasible method to determine manganese in urine, especially for the determination of great quantity of samples.
