Curative Effect of Applying Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome Differentiation to Treat Knee Osteoarthritis and Analyzing Their Immune Status

Objective: To investigate the immune status and the effect of TCM syndrome differentiation in patients with knee osteoarthritis( KOA). Methods: Choosing 140 cases of patients with knee osteoarthritis from April 2013 to October 2014,and in accordance with the order of admission,the patient will be the observation group( n = 90) and the controlled group( n = 50),patients in the study group were treated with TCM syndrome differentiation treatment,the controlled group oral Voltaren tablets.The adverse reactions and the treatment effect of the patients were compared with the changes of IL-6and IL-1before and after the treatment. Results: Four groups of patients after treatment of IL-1,IL-6decreased,compared with before treatment,the difference had statistical significance( P0. 05); and after the treatment of kidney marrow empty group and Yang deficiency cold coagulation group were lower than blood stasis group,kidney marrow empty group was the lowest,compared with the controlled group,the difference was statistically significant( P0. 05); observing the effect of the treatment group was obviously improved,the total effective rate reached 95. 6%,while the controlled group was only 88%,compared with the treatment effect of the two groups,the difference was statistically significant( u = 3. 6255,P = 0. 0003); the observation group in the total adverse reaction of gastrointestinal reactions,dizziness,arrhythmia and the infection rate was 14. 3%,significantly decreased compared with the controlled group in terms of total adverse reaction rate of 46%,the differences of the adverse reactions of the two groups had statistical significance( P0. 05). Conclusion: The treatment of TCM syndrome differentiation in patients with knee osteoarthritis can effectively improve the inflammatory factors such as IL-6and IL-1,and improve the immune and clinical therapeutic effect.
