Abstract
As a representative of the new literal group,Jian Wen Emperor XIAO Gang wrote a lot of poems describing the scenery,the singers and dancers in the imperial court. However the content of his poems was not limited to love,and the style was not just characterized by weakness and excessive refinement,which could be seen from the large number of fresh and charming poems depicting scenery,lively poems singing nature,some simple and moving poems expressing young ladies' grudge and some frontier poems full of heroism and passion. Therefore,a comprehensive understanding of XIAO Gang's literary achievements should be made.
