Abstract
Objective To study an effective and relapse-reducing therapy for vaginal candidiasis. Methods This study consisted of 140 patients, who were randomly divided into two groups: study group(80 patients) and control group(60 patients). Those in study group were treated with intra-vagina Gyno-Daktarin and swabbing of Iodophor;those in the control group treated with intra-vagina Gyno-Daktarin alone.A 3-day course was done for both groups. Results There were significant differences between the two groups in terms of efficacy and recurrence after a long-term follow-up(uc=5.53,5.45;χ2=4.04;P0.05,0.01).Conclusion Intra-vagina retention of Gyno-Daktarin combined with perfrication of Iodophor is recommendable for vaginal candidiasis.
