Study on the resources of butterfly in southwest Hunan province

Abstract
The 293 butterfly varieties specimens in 116 families 148 genera were collected and fed from southwest of Hunan province.The 143 butterfly varieties are a new record in Hunan province.Some butterfly varieties were the rare butterfly varieties of the world.The 39 butterfly varieties were the new record in Hunan province for rare butterfly varieties.The district series and character of butterflies in southwest Hunan province and the suggestion for protection and utilization of butterfly resources were pointed out.
