WILD PLANT RESOURCES IN THE EASTERN ZHONGTIAO MOUNTAINS,SAHNXI

The eastern of Zhongtiao Mountains,located in the southern of Shanxi,is one of the tourist attractions,and a famous national park,There are various wild plant resources in the mountains,including 108 families of vascular plant,356 genera and 612 species based on field survey.According to the economic effects,they can be divided into 12 groups:(1)fiber plants 68,(2)oil plants 98,(3)fragrant plants 43, (4) tannin plants 42,(5)starch plants 63,(6)fruit plants 82,(7)honey plants 59,(8)forage plants 130,(9)medicinal plants 312, (10) agricultural chemi calplants 46,(11)vegetable plants 56 and(12) ornament plants 158. Among those wild plant resources,some are difficulty used due to distribution sparse and processing technology,and the others can be easily used,for example,starch plants,forage plants,medicinal plants, therefore,attention should be paid to the latter that are developed and utilized.Moreover,some of threatened and rare plants must be protected,it will promote biodiversity conservation and the sustainable development of plant resources.
