Study on Wild Plant Resources in Zhongtiao Mountain,Shanxi

Zhongtiao Mountains,located in the south of Shanxi, is situated between 34°42′～35°50′N latitude and 110°18′～112°00′E longitude in Shanxi.There are various plant resources in the mountains,including 129 families of wild vascular plant,497 genera and 990 species.According to their economic effect,there are grouped into 13 groups.The richest types are herb medicine plants 430,oil plants 124,fiber plants 90,forage plants 84,afforestation and ornamental plants 76.The characteristics of the major resources plants were analyzed.Furthermore,the strategies for the exploitation and protection of the resources were discussed.
