Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical application of minimally invasive video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery for spontaneous pneumothorax. Methods A retrospective analysis from 2004 to June 2008 in our hospital carried out 55 cases of spontaneous pneumothorax by video-assisted thoracoscopic minimally invasive surgical treatment of clinical data. Results The results of surgery in this group of patients with no death and serious complications rate was 100%.Conclusion The video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery(VATS)treatment of spontaneous pneumothorax, with a safe, effective, low relapse rate, minor injury, quick recovery, etc,is a reasonable choice.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
