Abstract

With a comprehensive mode for evaluating the New Rural Cooperative Medical System(NCMS),the paper analyzes statistical datarelevant to NCMS in 11 counties in 2009,aiming to assess the operation of NCMS in Fuzhou in 2009.The authors also advance that a sustainable effective systemcould be set up only by promoting farmers from poor areas to participate in the system,properly controlling fund utilization rate,raising the benefit rate for patients involved,and scientifically directing patients to seek medical advice.
