Abstract
Through selected newly decorated rooms in Hohhot city as study target, the field monitoring of contents of formaldehyde, carbon monoxide and radon in indoor air are developed, the pollution level of decorated rooms are analyzed. The results show that there is serious formaldehyde pollution in current newly decorated rooms, the excess standard can reach 93.3%.While time passes, the content of formaldehyde of indoor air decreases gradually. The content of formaldehyde in indoor air has negative correlation with decorated duration. In all decorated rooms, the concentrations of carbon monoxide never exceed standard and the excess rate of radon is just 1.7%.
