On the Development of Ethnic Education in Fujian Province:Status Quo、Problems and Solutions

In Fujian,minorities live both in scattered and mixed ways.During the eleventh five-year period,ethnic education in Fujian Province has made progress in the following aspects such as the consolidation and promotion of the Two basics,the harmonious development of all kinds of education,and the improvement of the condition of the primary and secondary schools,and has cultivated a lot of talents for the economic and social development in ethnic regions and the west coast economic zone.Under new situations,problems of ethnic education in Fujian still exist,such as school funds input,inadequate pre-school education and secondary vocational education,and the relatively poor conditions for the running of primary and secondary schools in the ethnic regions.In the twelfth five-year plan period,under the guidance of the scientific outlook on development,we must adhere to taking precedence in ethnic education,enlarge the input in funds,improve school conditions and teaching quality so as to promote ethnic education faster and better.
