Reflection on Developing Vocational Education in Ethnic Area A Research Report on Ethnic Vocational Education in Guizhou Province

A big gap is still in existence between the vocational eduction in China and that of the developed countries and regions.This article studies ethnic vocational education in Guizhou Province and identifies the following cumbering causes:1.Most part of ethnic area is still in the stage of subsistence economy with neither a fully developed market system nor a clear division of labor and a separation of industrial lines.2.The fading and dysfunction of some links in planned economy has deprived the surviving conditions of ethnic vocational education.To make a breakthrough in this predicament,it is necessary to promote the division of labor and a separation of industrial lines.The ethnic vocational education should be based on the actual situation in the ethnic area,and gear itself to he development of social\|economic development.
