Meta-analysis in treatment of negative symptom of schizophrenic by quetiapine

Objective:To understand the difference in treatment of negative symptom between quetiapine and other antipsychotics. Method:34 studies that compare effects differences in treatment of negative symptom between quetiapine and other antipsychotics were analysised by meta-analysis in effect side and comprehensive. Results:The significant difference in change of negative symptom before and after treatment by quetiapine was found.No significant difference in change of negative symptom between treatment by quetiapine and other antipsychotics. Conclusion:The effect of quetiapine on schizophrenic negative symptom was significant which didn't differ from other antipsychotics.The difference of effects side varies in difference drug.
