Abstract
Objective: To observe the effect of using the electric acupuncture at the bilateral Ciliao acupoint combined with ginger- isolated moxibustion at Guanyuan aupoint on treating primary dysmenorrhea. Methods: 60 cases were randomly divided into the electric acupuncture combined with ginger- isolated moxibustion group( 30 cases) and the control group( 30 cases),and their therapeutic effects were observed. Results: Compared the effect of the electric acupuncture combined with ginger- isolated moxibustion group to the control group, the former was better than the latter and had less side effect( P 0. 01). Conclusion: The electric acupuncture on the bilateral Ciliao acupoint combined with ginger- isolated moxibustion on Guanyuan acupoint on treating primary dysmenorrhea is a good method.
