Abstract
Objective:To observe the clinical effect of body acupuncture and box moxibustion for patients with primary dysmenorrhea.Methods:31 Patients received the treatment of points of GuanYuan,bilateral Diji,SanYinJiao,TaiXi and Taichong combined box moxibustion,a course of treatment from each beginning 1 week before menstruation to menses,once daily.The efficacy was evaluated after three consecutive courses.Results:Among 31 cases,9 cases were cured,11 cases obviously improved,7 cases improved and 4 cases had no response,and the total effective rate was 87.10%.Conclusion:The combination of body acupuncture and box moxibustion treatment can get good effect for primary dysmenorrhea.
