Abstract
Objective To investigate the situation of factors associated with infertility.Methods We investigated the age,menstrual cycle and family planning,family history,infertility diagnosis of 4 234 couples.Results The mean age of men patients and women was 32.1 and 29.6 years respectively.The rate of advanced women was 13.9%.Primary and secondery infertility was 60.3% and 39.7%,respectively,and with significant difference between female factors and male factors or both female and male factors(P0.01).The main causes of infertility included: 46% with tubal defect and pelvic disease,36.4% suffered disorders of sperm production,15.9% with anovulation.There were 994 couples that both partners caused infertility,and constituted 23.5% among 4234 couples.Conclusion It may play an importance role to prevent infertility through strengthening the prevention of fallopian tube and pelvic disease,and researching on spermatogenesis.
