Abstract
Objective In order to study the influence of Fas protein on gastric tumorigenesis and development. Methods Expression of Fas protein was observed in 20 cases of normal gastric mucosa,38 cases of gastric epithelial dysplasia(GED) and 52 cases of gastric carcinoma(GC) by immunohistochemical method. Results The expression rates of Fas protein in both GC and GED were significantly higher than that in normal gastric mumosa( P 0.05).No correlation between Fas expression and PT stage, lymph node status was observed. Conclusion Fas was involved in gastric tumorigenesis, but may not be related with gastvic carcinoma progression.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
