Abstract
Objective: To optimize the extraction of baicalin by orthogonal experiment. Methods: boiling number, boiling time, water consumption for the reference element to the output of baicalin used as index to extract orthogonal selection of quality programs;the determination of baicalin content by the HPLC.Results:The number of decoction, boiling time of water affect the extraction of baicalin, which water the greatest impact, the time of the second, boiling time, the least, the extraction of baicalin purified using HPLC determination of content reached more than 85%.Conclusion: The method is simple, rapid, accurate, and to extract from Scutellaria baicalin reference.
