Abstract

Objective To explore the significance of tissue factor(TF) expression in non-small cell lung cancer. Methods The primary lung cancer and lymph node metastasis from 75 cases with non-small cell lung cancer were confirmed with HE method.Expression of tissue factor was detected with SABC immunohistochemistry method. Results Of the 75 cases with non-small cell lung cancer, positive expressions of TF were detected in 49 cases, the positive rate was 65.3%.Of the 48 cases with lymph node metastasis,40 cases were positive TF expression(19 cases were strong positive TF expression),the positive rate in the lymph node metastasis group was 83.3%.Of the 27 cases with negative lymph node metastasis,9 cases were positive TF expression(2 cases were strong positive TF expression),positive rate in negative lymph node metastasis group was 33.3%.Conclusion Overexpression of TF is detected in the primary lesion of non-small cell lung cancer with lymph node metastasis.TF overexpression is remarkablely related to the progress of disease and plays an important role in the metastasis of non-small cell lung cancer.
