Abstract

In order to strengthen the control and make the wishes of the higher authorities known to those below and the situation below known to those above,Qing Dynasty set up new education system after the reunification of Xinjiang,particularly after Xinjiang′s province was established.With the remarkable growth of private and government schools,Xinjiang′s education was developed visibly.However,there was still a big gap between Xinjiang and the eastern areas in education for various reasons.
