Abstract
Objective:To study the levels of fibrinopeptide A(FPA),prothrombin fragment1+2(F1+2) and antithrombin Ⅲ(AT-Ⅲ) in patients with ulcerative colitis(UC) and its correlation. Methods: The plasma levels of FPA,F1+2 and AT-Ⅲ in 30 patients with active UC,20 patients with remissive UC and 20 controls were measured by enzyme linked immunosorbant assays(ELISA).Results: The concertration of FPA,F1+2 were significantly increased in patients with active UC compared with remissive UC and healthy contyols. The concertration of AT-Ⅲ were significantly decreased in patients with active UC compared with remissive UC and healthy contyols.(P0.01).The concertration of FPA,F1+2 in patients with active UC increased with increase of disease severity and the expansion of the lesion of UC(P0.05),while the concertration of AT-Ⅲ decreased(P 0.01).There were significantly negitive correlation between FPA and AT-Ⅲ,F1+2 and AT-Ⅲ.Conclusion: There was an obvious prehtrombotic state in patients with UC.The levels of FPA,F1+2,AT-Ⅲ were correlated with disease activity and severity and the range of the lesion of UC.
