Diagnostic value of susceptibility weighted imaging in hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy with hemorrhage

Objective To investigate the value of Susceptibility Weighted Imaging(SWI) in hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy(HIE) with hemorrhage.Methods The clinical diagnosis of 38 cases with HIE,good head MRI abscissa axis surface T1WI,T2WI,T2flare and SWI scanning.Compared with various sequences to newborn hemorrhagic focus of infection detection and the performance, appraises SWI in the inspection and the diagnosis.Results There 208 lesions were detected by SWI,and it was obviously higher than the focus of infection number which T1WI and T2WI detection.The detection rate of SWI was significantly higher than those of T1WI,T2WI(P0.05).Conclusion SWI detection of the newborn hemorrhagic focus of infection has the extremely high sensitivity,it can detect more and smaller focuses of infection,and the focus of infection demonstration is clearer,it may take the newborn HIE inspection the convention.
