THE REGIONAL CULTURAL FEATURES OF INNER MONGOLIA IN QIN AND HAN DYNASTIES

Qin and Han Dynasties were a period of great unification in the Chinese history,in which the Inner Mongolia region occupies an important position.It was the joint zone of agricultural and nomadic cultures.The special historical period,geographical position and nationality composition characterized the culture of Inner Mongolia at that time by features like its early onset,continuity,pluralism,plentifulness,conflict,fusion,openness and originality.The peculiar culture not only enriches the Chinese culture and enhances its vitality but also establishes the basis of the culture in Inner Mongolia region.Furthermore,it influences its development and history,and as a result builds a solid foundation for the formation of grassland culture,which is called one of the three major components of the Chinese culture besides the Yellow River culture and the Yangtze River culture.
