On the Cultural Types Of Hetao Area In The Qin And Han Dynasties

During the Qin and Han dynasties,Hetao area had an important political and military status, for it was a paradise for the northern nomads,and the focus of military competition between the military powers in central China and the Hun dynasty as well as the new area of economic development of Qin and Han dynasties.The particular historical era and its geographical location,ethnic composition of the population of the region formed a unique multiple culture:a blend of nomadic culture,farming culture,martial culture,immigrant culture and business travel culture.These subcultures co-existed,developing,mutually influencing and interacting,thus enriching this open,vital and enterprising Qin and Han culture and making a contribution to the formation,the diversity and unity of the Chinese culture.
