Abstract
In order to avoid the occurrence of 'rubbery soil'in saturated soft clay ground during the construction of dynamic consolidation method, the dynamic consolidation combined with drainage(DCD) using space drainage system to accelerate the dissipation of excess pore water pressure and the consolidation of soft soil and to improve the efficiency of dynamic consolidation has been proposed. The in\|situ test has been studied to verify the effectiveness of treating the saturated soft clay by the DCD on a large commercial warehouse ground in some port. The improvement influences and technology characteristics of the DCD improving the saturated soft clay ground have been analyzed and discussed.
