Contrast study on consolidation of soft clay foundation with different methods

Abstract

Three different methods:dynamic consolidation,consolidation by drainage,dynamic consolidation by drainage were used to treat soft clay foundation.The contrast study was carried out on the basis of on pore water pressure,dynamic sounding,static sounding,loading tests and laboratory geotechnical tests to different consolidation effects.The results show that the dynamic consolidation by drainage is an effective method for treating saturated soft clay foundation.
