Abstract
During 1978-2003 China's agricultural subsidy policies have these characteristics: focusing on the reformation of the system and re-regulation,ignoring agricultural subsidies and input. From 2004 to the present, with less out, more in,and deregulating as the principle, agricultural subsidy has been increased, subsidy styles diversified, and the goals of subsidy shift from ensuring food security to food security and farmer incomes both on equal basis. But there are a lot of problems in China's agricultural subsidy policies, such as relatively inadequate efforts to subsidize, high costs of the implementation and irrational structure. It is necessary to increase agricultural subsidies,to strengthen the management of agricultural subsidies,to reduce agricultural subsidies implementation costs,to further improve the system of China's agricultural subsidy policies and to improve the direct subsidies policies.
