On Translator’s Subjectivity from the Perspective of Hermeneutics

In this paper, the author lists several cases from American famous author Dan Brown's works translated by Professor Zhu Zhenwu based on the four steps of Steiner's hermeneutics translation to illustrate translator's subjectivity in the expression of cultural information. Meanwhile, the playing of translator's subjectivity must be restricted by the original text, the translator's artistic appreciation, and the readers' expecting view, etc. So translators should strengthen their own professional abilities at the time of understanding original text and meeting the readers' demands, thus, they can create versions with high quality and high level.
