Abstract
Objective To study the effect of irbesartan hydrochlorothiazide in the treatment of primary hypertension. Methods Seventy -eight cases of patients with essential hypertension from December 2010 to October 2012 in our hospital were randomly divided into control group and study group with 39 cases in each group. Patients in control group were treated with irbesartan, patients in study group were treated with irbesartan hydrochlorothiazide tablets. Results After treatment, the total efficiency rate of control group was 82.05%, the total efficiency rate of study group was 94.87%, by comparison, the rate of study group was better than that of control group, the difference had statistical significance (P 0.05). After treatment, the SBP, DBP of two groups all decreased significantly, the difference was statistically significant (P 0.05), but the SBP, DBP between the two groups had no significant difference (P 0.05). Two groups of patients had no severe adverse reaction. Conclusion The effect of irbesartan hydrochlorothiazide tablets in the treatment of primary hypertension is obvious, it has less adverse reaction, is worthy of clinical application.
