Abstract
Objective To investigate the infection status of methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA) and its antibiotic resistance. Methods Species identification and antimicrobial susceptibility test were performed by applying MicroScan microbial analytical system of Dade Behring Company. Results A total of 102 strains(65.4%) of MRSA were detected out of 156 strains of Staphylococcus aureus, which were sensitive to vancomycin and resistant to β-lactams.Conclusion MRSA is of a high detection rate in clinical samples, and characteristic of multidrug resistance. Therefore, antibiotics should be chosen rationally.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
