Abstract

Objective To understand the clinical distribution status of clinical isolates of Staphylococcus aureus and their resistance to common used antimicrobials to provide the basis for rational drug use in clinic. Methods 110 clinically isolated strains of Staphylococcus aureus were detected the the sensitivity of 12 antimicrobial drugs by disk diffusion method(KB method),and the detected results were statistically analyzed with SPSS 16.0 software. Results Among 110 strains of Staphylococcus aureus,59 strains were methicillin-sensitive staphylococcus aureus(MSSA),51 strains were methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus(MRSA) with the MRSA isolation rate of 46.4%;MRSA resistance to commonly used antibacterials was significantly higher than MSSA(P0.05),Staphylococcus aureus resistant to vancomycin was not found. Conclusion Staphylococcus aureus has lower sensitivity to many antimicrobial agents, especially the drug-resistant strains of MRSA is more serious.Antimicrobial drugs should rationally selected according to the results of the drug susceptibility tests.
