Abstract
Objective To explore the value of ultrasonic elastograpby in differentiating breast malignant lesions from benign lesions. Methods Seventy-eight patients with 90 breast lumps underwent conventional ultrasound and ultrasonic elastography examination. The lesions were scored according to the color on elastography images. Results The elastic score higher than grade 4 was mainly distributed in the malignancies compared to benign lensions. There was significant difference(P0.05).Conclusion Ultrasonic elastography could objectively assess the relative stiffness of breast lesions, which also could afford much help for differential diagnosis of malignant and benign breast lesions.
