An Evaluation on Clinical Efficacy and Safety of Jianwei-Yuyang Tablets in the Treatment of Peptic Ulcer

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and to evaluate the safety of Jianwei-Yuyang Tablets in the treatment of peptic ulcer. Methods:79 patients who had been diagnosed as peptic ulcer and their aymptomatic types had been classified by the dialectical theory of Chinese traditional medicine were given Jianwei-Yuyang Tablets (4-5 patches, po, qid ) and the period lasted for four weeks. The curative effect of this medicine on peptic ulcer was observed and the safety was evaluated. Result:The efficiency rate of Jianwei-Yuyang Tablets was 82.14% on peptic ulcer . The recovery rate on main symptoms such as gastric abscess, belching, hyperchlorhydria and clatter was 93.51%, 90.00%, 89.66% and 87.10%, respectively. The rate of curative effect on depressed liver with the insufficient spleen, disharmony between the liver and stomach and insufficiency of the spleen-yang was 92.31%, 90.63% and 93.75%, respectively. No adverse events were observed. Conclution:The Jianwei-Yuyang Tablets in the treatment of peptic ulcer are effective and safe in clinical practice.
