Test of Pesticides Controlling Sugarcane Pest

The test results show that there were control effects of root applied Chlorantraniliprole 30% thiamethoxam SC,70% thiamethoxam WG and 40% Virtako WG three pesticides on sugarcane borer,thrips and mealy bug.After applying pesticide 60 days,control effect of borer dead heart was more than 70%;control effect for thrip numbers of 10 plants was more than 65%,control effect of pests on plants decreased,but obviously was superior to that of the control;there was mealy bug harm on 40% Virtako WG 450 g/ha,but the control effects of the other agents were 100% superior to that of the control.Application dosage was suggested to 30% thiamethoxam Chlorantraniliprole SC 600 mL/ha,70% thiamethoxam WG 225 g/ha and 40% Virtako WG 600 g/ha used combing with sugarcane seeding,fertilization and ridging.
