Abstract

Objective:To observe the changes of plasma D-Dimer and fibrinogen(FIB)in patients with lacunar cerebral infarction(LI)after treatment with Batroxobin. Methods:A total of 120 patients with LI were randomly divided into Batroxobin treatment group(n=60)and control group(n=60)and treated with neurophic and normal drugs.Batroxobin was used in Batroxobin treatment group on days 1,3,5,and 7.Thirty patients with acute cerebral infarction served as treatment group,30 persons served as control group.Levels of D-Dimer and FIB were measured in 120 patients before and after treatment. Results:Before treatment, the levels of D-Dimer were lower in patients with LI than in patients with acute cerebral infarction(P0.05)and there was no significant difference between patients with LI and controls(P0.05).The D-Dimer level was higher and FIB level was lower 7 days after treatment with Batroxobin than before treatment with Batroxobin(P0.05).The D-Dimer level was similar 14 days after treatment with Batroxobin to that before treatment with Batroxobin(P0.05).Conclusion:Batroxobin increases fibrinolytic activity, reduces coagulation activity, and accelerates thrombolysis in patients with LI.
