Abstract

Objective To observe the therapheutic effect of Batroxobin as early stage theraphy in patients with acute cerebral infarction. Methods 44 patients with cerebral infarction within 6~72 hours of the onset were randomised into Batroxobin treatment group and routine treatment control group. Batroxobin treatment group was administered introvenous drip with Batroxobin on the basis of routine treatment. The dose of Batroxobin was 10BU the first day,5BU the third day, 5BU the fifth day. Serum fibrinogen and neurologic function deficits of patients were measured before and after the treatment. Results The results showed that after Batroxobin treatment serum fibrinogen was decreased remarkably ( P 0 01) and neurologic function deficits of Batroxobin treatment group was significantly decreased( P 0.05).And on control treatment group there was no remarkable changes in serum fibrinogen and neurologic function deficits before and after the treatment( P 0.05).Conclusion The use of Batroxobin in patients with acute cerebral infarction within 6~72 hours of the onset still can improve the clinical symptom remarkably.
